She gushed to People magazine about the musician at the ALS Association Golden West Chapter's annual One Starry Night benefit Monday evening in Los Angeles.

The Arc Angels band member was there to show his support as they have been in a relationship for over two years when Renee raved about her beau.

'Isn't he cute? He's a very sweet man,' she said. 'I'm very, very happy right now.'

The gala was put together to help raise money to help conquer amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

No doubt the event hits close to home as she was there to support her publicist Nancy Ryder, who has been diagnosed with the nervous system disease.

She told the weekly: 'It wasn't hard to throw on a pair of shoes for this one.'

The Bridget Jone's Diary star also spoke at the event as she told the audience in attendance: 'As a person who loves someone who is living with ALS, I'm happy to be here among so many of you who understand what that diagnosis means.'

'We've learned that living with ALS does not mean being defined by the disease. She's a beautiful example of that,' Zellweger shared about her business partner and friend. 'Her spirit is as vivacious as ever.'

She has been spotted out on frequent occasions of late with her long-term boyfriend including a trip to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday night.
