Life after Fifty Shades Of Grey! Dakota Johnson gets into character on the set of How To Be Single

Dakota Johnson has wasted no time getting back to work since the release of Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The 25-year-old was back on the set of How To Be Single on Tuesday, her first role since the release of the erotic blockbuster in February.

Dakota was impossible to miss with her bright coral pink dress while she filmed and brushed up on lines with her on-screen love interest Nicholas Braun in New York.

Dakota was practically beaming as she made her way through set, surrounded by co-stars and crew members.

Her newly cut locks playfully framed her face, while her signature bangs skimmed just above her bright blue eyes.

After a moment of filming, the actress was helped into a thick grey coat, the same winter piece she sported on the set on Monday.

The actress stayed busy even when she wasn't dressed in character.

Dakota and her co-star studiously scanned her script during a lull in filming.

It seemed like just another day in the life for this new rising star, the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.

Dakota's breakthrough role was as the naive but willing to learn Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Of Grey.

In an interview in Vogue in January, Dakota said of starring in Fifty Shades Of Grey: 'It’s just the most insane thing to be a part of,'

'I've never experienced anything like this; I don’t think anyone has. It's terrifying - and it's exciting.'

This time around, in the romantic comedy How To Be Single, Dakota plays a writer who becomes involved in an affair while working abroad.

The movie, which is slated for a US release of February 12, 2016, also features former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens, Lily Collins, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Damon Wayans Jr.

Meanwhile, Dakota's rising star continues to soar.

She'll return for the sequels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, but will also appear in the Whitey Bulger biopic Black Mass later this year.

Dakota will also star opposite Matthias Schoenaerts and celebrated British actors Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton in A Bigger Splash, which will hit theatres in 2015 as well.
