WORLD VIDEO EXCLUSIVE: Anna Kendrick and the Barden Bellas reprise the Cups song for a tender campfire moment in Pitch Perfect 2

It's the song that scored Anna Kendrick a No. 2 hit on Billboard's Adult Pop Song chart, and now the entire Barden Bellas get to sing the Cups song in Pitch Perfect 2.

In a world exclusive clip on MailOnline, Anna, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld and the rest of the female castmates can be seen singing an a capella campfire rendition of When I'm Gone.

The comedy sequel sees the Bellas having to fight for the right to perform as the senior members of their team come to terms with their future without a capella.

The Cups (When I'm Gone) song appeared in the first film, where Anna's character Becca performs it during her audition for the Bellas.

Anna ended up making a music video for it and it seems that she can't get away from the song as John Krasinski cracked a joke about it during their episode of Lip Sync Battle. 

The plot of Pitch Perfect 2 centres around the odd-ball choir heading to the international a capella competition and facing off against the world’s top groups.

The Barden Bellas are determined to win the worldwide competition that an American group has never won in order to regain their status and right to perform.

After an exposure mishap with Fat Amy and the president, the group are more determined than ever to prove that a ragtag bunch of American girls can 'run the world.' 

A new song featured in the clip is Korean electro-banger BIGBANG‘s Fantastic Baby - the original of which had 143 million views on YouTube.

Real a capella groups were used during filming, including Pentatonix who won NBC's The Singoff season 3.

Elizabeth banks produced and starred in the first film but has now made her directorial debut with the sequel.

Pitch Perfect 2 is released in movie theatres on May 15.
