And Rose Byrne caused something a fan stampede on Wednesday when she stepped out in a stylish shirt and trouser combination for her appearance on the Today Show in New York City.

The 35-year-old actress was full of smiles as she waltzed through the crowd of autograph hunters and into the studio wearing a cute royal blue shirt and a pair of dark peg-leg trousers.

She teamed her look with a pair of black sandal heels with a thick ankle band and a monochrome handbag, which she clenched within her left fist while she swung her other arm as she walked.

The Bad Neighbours star kept her brunette tresses, which are dip-dyed dark blonde, down in its usual long bob while her fringe was pushed behind her ear to show off her perfect jawline.

She opted for a natural make-up look with a nude shade brushed across her lids, a swipe of eye-liner across the lower lash line, a healthy dose of blusher and a pale pink lip.

Meanwhile, the Australian actress has been dating her boyfriend Bobby Cannavale for two years but admitted recently she's only just introduced her beau to her parents, Jane and Robin.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she said: '[Bobby and I] went to Sydney, went all around, my parents live in Tasmania.'

She added: 'It's a beautiful property, they have animals everywhere, kangaroos in the morning.'

She was cut off by 40-year-old Jimmy, who noted that Bobby was a 'real New Yorker.'

The couple went public with their relationship in 2013 when they walked the red carpet at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York.

They are currently starring in Adult Beginners together and previously worked with one another in Annie and have also filmed the movie, Spy, which is set for release in May in Australia.

Bobby likely met Rose's family when she brought him to Australia earlier in the year so he could attend the AACTA Awards, where she won the Trailblazer Award.
