The Washington native has been around the Broadway block herself, having starred in several plays including Wicked as Glinda.

She was gleeful to be seeing Something Rotten!, which tells the story of Nick Bottom, a London playwright in the mid-1590s who can't seem to get past that other famous writer by the name of William Shakespeare.

Megan's most personal project to date was welcoming daughter Viola Philomena seven months ago with husband Brian.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! - WHAT THE CRITICS SAY

'The intoxicating new musical at the St. James Theatre, revels in its silliness so engagingly that exclamation points are going to follow theater goers all the way home as contented ticket buyers grin that “I finally got my money’s worth” grin producers dream about but rarely muster' - Deadline

'If I could wish for any improvement in Something Rotten! it would be to relax a bit more, so we could. It’s hard work enjoying a show this much' - Vulture

'Something Rotten! dances dangerously on the line between tireless and tedious, and winds up collapsing into the second camp' - New York Times

'Even if the show doesn't finish as strongly as it starts, its giddy high spirits prevail' - The Hollywood Reporter

'There’s entirely too much [plot] in the messy second act. But by that time, the show is steaming ahead, fueled by the bold-as-brass music, the ingenious lyrics and the sheer lunacy of the whole enterprise' - Variety
