George Clooney, 53, 'is hesitant to email wife Amal out of privacy concerns' as it's revealed his online name used to be Batman Senior

While most couples prefer to email or text each other these days, the same does not go for one A-list Hollywood film star.

George Clooney would rather pick up a good old-fashioned land line to talk to his spouse of seven months, stunning lawyer Amal Alamuddin, 37.

According to UsWeekly, the 53-year-old actor thinks that electronic communication is just not private enough.

Be a style star in an embroidered dress like Amal

By now we've all realized that Amal Clooney has a closet full of designer clothes for every day of the week. The British barrister cut a striking figure back in March when she attended an event with her husband, George Clooney, in this Stella McCartney dress.

The sleeveless shift featured a see-through mesh design on both sides showing just a hint of skin but still keeping it classy. The form fitting silhouette highlighted Amal's slim physique.

Unfortunately this style is all sold out, but you can get your hands on a similar option at Neiman Marcus by clicking right. As for alternatives, we've got plenty in the carousel below.

We're especially smitten with the embroidered panels of the BCBG creation and the lace sleeves on the Reiss number. Keep the look simple with black heels and a box clutch and you'll score major style points.

That must mean Amal - a prominent attorney that has to travel the world for her work - must have an international cell phone at the ready 24/7.

Considering how famous he is (and how curious people are about his not-boring personal life) it's understandable he'd want to be as guarded as possible.

After all, stars as big as Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence have already been the victims of hackers.

'He has always worried about people finding a way to access his information,' added the source.

George doesn't have a Twitter or Instagram account either.

In fact, the former ER doctor didn't even get email until the year 2000.

'He signs emails to friends with a simple Danny Ocean and he loves leaving voicemails saying, "This is Batman."'

Though the movie was considered the worst of his career, George doesn't really care, added the insider.

'George gets a kick out of the fact that he played Batman. He’s so proud of all his movies,' said the source,
