But Orlando Bloom did not look ready for his close-up when captured in New York on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old actor pulled a nonplussed face with his mouth down at the corners while out with a group of friends.

He was last spotted on Friday taking his cherubic four-year-old son Flynn to Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Meanwhile, it was rumoured in March that Orlando has developed a friends with benefits relationship with his estranged wife and the mother of his child, Miranda Kerr.

A source told Ok! magazine that the couple were 'enjoying hooking up whenever the mood and opportunity strike.' 

The pair first sparked rumours they were rekindling their romance when they were seen leaving an Oscars after party in February.

Miranda began dating the actor in 2007, with the pair tying the knot in 2010.

In October 2013, they announced that they had separated several months earlier; however the couple have not yet officially divorced.

Meanwhile, Orlando is filming the fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean instalment, called Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is due out in 2017.
