Earlier this month Lisa Vanderpump told fans her husband Ken Todd underwent a hip replacement operation.

And on Tuesday, the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star took to Twitter with a happy announcement: The 69-year-old is on the road to recovery.

And to prove he was getting better, the 54-year-old reality diva attached a photo of the restaurateur in the back yard of their scenic estate. The caption read, 'He is almost back...'

Lisa's husband of nearly 33 years is clearly still rehabilitating as he's seen making use of a pair of crutches. It is the second hip replacement surgery for Ken, who is 15 years his lady's senior.

Still, the successful businessman looked like his former vibrant self as he smiled outside their gorgeous estate named Villa Rosa.

He looked suave in a fitted navy blue T-shirt, blue, white stripped trousers and a purple sweater wrapped around his shoulders - a nod to his wife's favorite color.

Vanderpump Rules star Lisa tweeted on April 7 that she was stepping away from social networking to devote her attention to her husband's health.

She told her fans: 'Will be off Twitter for a couple of days, concentrating on my darling husband #surgery #stressed.'

Three days later, a source revealed to Radar Online that the procedure was successful. 'He’s doing well, recovering and expected to head home today,' the insider shared.

Brits Lisa and Ken have appeared in Bravo's The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills as original cast members since 2010. It is now in its fifth season.

The beauty married the bar owner in 1982. Together, they have Pandora, 29, and adopted son Max, 23.

Completing their family, they have dogs Lollipop, Pikachu, Buki and Giggy, who is a fixture on their reality series and often seen wrapped in her arms at events.

Former Baywatch actress Lisa met Ken in 1982 at London's Cork's bar, the first bar he opened.

The Beverly Hills socialite revealed in an interview with the Evening Standard that she caught his attention by showing her good humor when she was then aged 21 and he was 37.

'I was being a smartarse,' she recalled. 'I tried to charge him to come in.'

Ken added: 'She was like a breath of fresh air coming into my life.'

'I thought, "hello," he looks interesting,' Lisa explained. The love birds wed six weeks later.

Lisa and Ken went on to make a fortune in the restaurant and bar business, with more than 25 successful ventures throughout their long career.

Presently, they own West Hollywood chic boites Sur Lounge - which is featured on Bravo's Vanderpump Rules reality series, and Pump Lounge. In Beverly Hills Lisa is a staple at her restaurant Villa Blanca - which was featured many times during the freshman season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

Speaking further to the newspaper, Lisa revealed the origin of her curious surname - Vanderpump, which is Dutch.

'I'm not sure if the name has been a help or a hindrance, professionally,' she said, 'but I supposed that once you've heard it, you remember it.'
