They're still on cloud nine after getting engaged during a romantic trip to Thailand.

But Ronan Keating and his fiancée Storm Uechtritz put the romance aside for the day to take part in a tough charity competition on the Isle of Wight.

The couple, who have been together for three years, displayed their competitive natures during a dragon boat racing event on Thursday to raise money for children's charity WellChild.

Clad in matching pink T-shirts, Ronan, 38, and Storm, 34, looked as loved-up as ever as they got stuck into the gruelling challenge.

The event was organised by festival boss John Giddings to mark The Isle of Wight Festival's new partnership with WellChild.

The day was a huge success, with over 300 people across twenty teams taking part in the races, helping raise a whopping £50,000 for sick children.

Boyzone hunk Ronan was joined by his former bandmates Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy as well as Westlife's Mark Feehily and actor Nicholas Pinnock as he took to the water.

Ronan and Storm announced their engagement last week, with romantic Ronan revealing that he popped the question to his girlfriend more than once.

He told HELLO! magazine: 'I proposed twice and she said yes both times, thank God.'

He revealed that he first proposed during a romantic holiday in Thailand, just days after his divorce from ex wife Yvonne, who he had been married to for 17 years, was finalised.

And while Storm said yes, Ronan was keen to propose again back home in Ireland and with his children, 16-year-old Jack, Missy, 14 and nine-year-old Ali, present.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place 11-14 June at Seaclose Park, with a stellar line-up including Fleetwood Mac, Pharrell Williams and Paolo Nutini.
