Oprah came out swinging in her twopart interview with the Kardashian family, diving head first into the biggest events, questions and criticisms concerning America's most polarising family.

Possibly the most notable revelation to come out of the special Oprah's Next Chapter episode was Kim Kardashian admitting that her sex tape 'introduced [her] to the world'.

Even as the leaked sex tape made her recognisable enough to warrant media attention and later a reality show, Kim reasoned that the tape also put her at a disadvantage.

'I felt like I had to work 10 times harder to get people to see the real me,' Kim told Oprah after denying putting the tape out herself.

Surprisingly, with all the TV shows, magazine shoots, club appearances and paparazzi, the family still doesn't refer to themselves as 'famous'.

Robert Jr. told Lady O that he hates those words because 'it sounds like you're talking about yourself in an arrogant way'. - etonline.com

Quetion Of The Day

Soft drinks and obesity

Most children and youth who consume soft drinks and other sweetened beverages, such as fruit punch and lemonade, are not at any higher risk for obesity than their peers who drink healthy beverages, says a new study published in the October issue of Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism.

The study examined the relationship between beverage intake patterns of Canadian children and their risk for obesity and found sweetened beverage intake to be a risk factor only in boys aged 6-11. - scienceblog.com

Sandwich emergency

A Man in Connecticut, US, phoned 911 on Wednesday when a deli worker did not make his sandwiches correctly. Rother McLennon complained that his sandwiches were not made by the same person who took his order.

McLennon ordered 14 sub sandwiches with very little turkey and very little ham, but with a lot of cheese and mayonnaise.

The 911 dispatcher asked McLennon, 'You're calling 911 because you don't like the way that they're making your sandwich?' to which he replied, 'Exactly. I mean, I just want to solve this the right way,' he said. - dbtechno.com
