Melanie Sykes showed off her enviably toned legs as she tackled her to do list in North London on Thursday.

Dressed in a grey zip up cardie and chain detailed charcoal top, she went about her errands wearing kooky pink-tinted sunglasses.

Still looking tanned from her recent holiday she wore her hair long and loose, and completed her off-duty look with peep-toe fringed black ankle boots.

It was clearly a glasses day for Mel, who Tweeted a selfie of her wearing the specs before she left the house earlier that morning.

She looked ready to face the day in her thick black rimmed glasses, double gold chain and barely-there make-up.

But Mel didn't seem too happy about the spring weather, tweeting: 'Bloody hayfever! My eyes not havin any contact lense shenans today!' (sic).

Mel was a contestant in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here at the end of 2014, finishing in third place behind runner-up Jake Quickenden and winner Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty.

On Friday, she also intrigued her Twitter followers telling them she was busy preparing for a new TV project.

She tweeted: 'I'm starting filming a brand new TV show next week and the powers that be won't let me tell you what it is!!! Grrrrr lol x.'

The model and presenter - who has sons Roman, 12, and Valentino, 10 with her first ex-husband Daniel Caltagirone - has been enjoying her alone time since separating from her second spouse Jack Cockings last year.

The couple's marriage came to an end after just six months, with the roofer claiming that Mel's alleged booze-fuelled rages played a part in their separation.

The 44-year-old star was on the red carpet at the BRITS earlier this year sporting a sexy red lingerie inspired dress that left little to the imagination.
