Reese Witherspoon shows toned legs in spring chic white and blue ensemble as she bonds with daughter Ava in Beverly Hills

She's been busy travelling the globe to promote her latest flick, Hot Pursuit.

But Reese Withersoon, 39, can't escape her family for too long and in fact proved she's ever-the-doting mother on Thursday, as she took her daughter Ava, 15, out for some one-on-one time.

The pair were spotted in Beverly Hills, paying a visit to the Oscar-winning actress' office just before hitting the town.

Reese displayed her toned calves and conservative chic style in a clean blue and white look.

The Wild star was clad in a navy and white striped blouse and loose, white above-the-knee skirt which she teamed with matching Christian Louboutin pumps.

The mother-of-three accessorised with a gold chain and matching pendant necklace, as well as studded earrings and a few finger rings while carrying a stylish white bucket bag.

Her blonde locks were slightly parted to the side and swept back into a low ponytail, as her eyes were concealed with brown sunglasses.

Reese left the office with a black garment bag, seeming to have picked up a few coveted clothing items.

Her daughter Ava appeared grunge yet girly, wearing a ruffled red floral frock with a denim jacket and ripped sheer black tights.

The teen, who is also the daughter of Reese's ex Ryan Phillippe, also sported black combat boots and carried a coordinating shoulder bag.

Her long turquoise locks were styled in a side braid, which was topped off with a pair of plastic glasses.

Lately, Reese has been busy promoting her new comedy Hot Pursuit in which she stars in alongside Sofia Vergara. 

The flick tells the story of an inept police officer (Witherspoon) who must protect the widow of a drug dealer (Vergara) from criminals and dirty policemen.

The odd couple find themselves on the run and having to engage in all sorts of deception in order to make it safely to the Dallas courtroom.

It's directed by Anne Fletcher who made 2009's The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. Hot Pursuit is slated for a May 8 release.

The wife of agent Jim Toth also just announced a new project in the works.
