'Lest We Forget': Dannii Minogue poses with servicemen ahead of 100th anniversary of ANZAC troops arriving in Gallipoli

She might have had a plane to catch, but Dannii Minogue wasn't too busy to spend time with some Australian serviceman on Friday. 

The pop star was at Sydney airport when she met the men in uniform selling special 100th anniversary ANZAC brooches, and stopped to take a picture with them.

The singer and X Factor Australia judge was dressed in a pale grey coat, her newly purchased brooch sitting proudly on her collar.

She also wore matching grey jeans, black ankle boots and carried a pink handbag.

The men were dressed in their khaki uniforms complete with their slouch hat as they proudly posed beside the famous Australian.

She captioned the shot: 'What a great day speaking to these brave men. I love my ANZAC brooch #WornWithPride #LestWeForget Tomorrow marks the 100th anniversary of landing of ANZAC troops at Gallipoli.'

On Thursday as she promoted her work as an ambassador for Westfield, the singer appeared on Nova FM's Fitzy and Wippa breakfast show with hosts Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli.

The hosts asked her about the next season of The X Factor with Dannii appearing to be flustered said: 'You guys put me on the spot don’t you? Am I allowed to say anything…What’s your dream panel?'

Fitzy then asked the direct question: 'Are you coming back Dannii? Can you tell us?'

'I am!' she responded after a brief pause much to the excitement of the hosts who cheered for her.

Fitzy and Wippa's Twitter account quickly shared the news on Twitter and said: 'Confirmed!! @DanniiMinogue is coming back to @thexfactor_au!!!'

Fans were quick to respond, one wrote: 'This is the best news today.'

It is not known whether fellow judges Natalie Bassingthwaighte or Ronan Keating will return after it was confirmed Redfoo would not be coming back.
