MANCHESTER CITY vs FULHAM: All the latest team news and stats as title chasers face rock bottom Cottagers
Etihad Stadium (Saturday, 3pm)
Manchester City team news:
Manchester City are without captain Vincent Kompany and top scorer Sergio Aguero for the visit of bottom side Fulham in the Barclays Premier League this weekend.
Defender Kompany is serving a one-match ban after his sending off at Hull last Saturday while striker Aguero is still nursing the hamstring injury which forced him off in Barcelona last week.
Feeling the strain: Sergio Aguero (right) is still suffering from a hamstring complaint
Centre-back Matija Nastasic (knee) is likely to be out at least another fortnight but striker Stevan Jovetic (hamstring) is back in contention.
Provisional squad: Hart, Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Lescott, Boyata, Kolarov, Clichy, Navas, Milner, Nasri, Silva, Toure, Fernandinho, Garcia, Rodwell, Dzeko, Negredo, Jovetic.
Fulham team news:
Winger Ashkan Dejagah has been ruled out of Fulham's Barclays Premier League trip to Manchester City with a muscle problem.
Striker Kostas Mitroglou is missing with a knee problem sustained last week, but is expected to return against Everton on March 30.
Getting shirty: Ashkan Dejagah scored the winner for Fulham in their win against Newcastle last weekend but misses out at Manchester City due to a muscle injury
Midfielder Scott Parker remains in the treatment room with his knee injury, while winger Damien Duff is out for the rest of the season, also because of a knee issue.
Provisional squad: Stekelenburg, Stockdale, Heitinga, Hangeland, Riether, Riise, Burn, Sidwell, Richardson, Kacaniklic, Kvist, Bent, Holtby, Kasami, Woodrow, Zverotic.
Big match stats:
Manchester City have won seven and lost none of the last 10 matches with Fulham in all competitions.
Fulham have managed just one clean sheet in their 23 Premier League games against City and none in the last 19 meetings.
Manchester City have won each of the last 21 competitive matches that Spanish midfielder David Silva has found the net in.
Darren Bent has scored seven Premier League goals against Man City; only against Bolton (11) has he been more prolific in the competition.
American dream: Clint Dempsey scored twice in Fulham's last win at Manchester City - a 3-1 victory in April 2009 when the Cottagers came from behind to triumph
Fulham had one point fewer in 2007-08 (23) than they currently have (24) and still managed to survive, partly due to a 3-2 win away at Man City where current England boss Roy Hodgson triumphed over former England coach Sven Goran Eriksson.
Manchester City have only once previously had more points after 27 Premier League games than their current haul of 60 and that was 66 in 2011-12 when they won the title.
Manchester City have the best chance conversion in the Premier League scoring with 19.2 per cent of their shots at goal.
Manchester City have won 12 of their last 13 Premier League home games, the one loss coming to Fulham’s west London neighbours Chelsea.
Fulham have won one of their last 11 Premier League away matches (W1 D2 L8).
Fulham have scored nine goals from corners this season, more than any other team in the top flight.
