Family day: Comedian Adam Sandler takes his children for breakfast ... then hands the left overs to the valet!

By Danielle Gusmaroli

He has a penchant for takeaways and has often been seen exercising in a bid to battle the bulge.

So it was perhaps no wonder the 47-year-old actor handed the left overs of his breakfast with his two daughters to a willing valet in the car park.

Munching enthusiastically on the remnants, Adam, who appeared to sport a slimmer build, took the  food bag off daughter Sadie and handed it to the attendant who led them to their car in Brentwood, California on Wednesday.

Youngest daughter Sunny, four, looked on disapprovingly as the valet walked off diving excitedly into the bag.

The Grown Ups 2 star was later seen laughing with his girls both of whom looked adorable.

Sadie, seven, wore a cute tie-dyed hoodie and trainers, while Sunny wore a sky blue jersey dotted with daisies and matching floral-patterned shoes.

Meanwhile Adam, who wore a baggy T-shirt and loose-fitting shorts, is often spotted buying takeaways from his favourite eateries including Panda Express, to reward himself after a jog.

The 50 First Dates star has been busy promoting his new film, Blended, which also stars his good friend Drew Barrymore.

The movie is about a couple who go on a horrible blind date and later find themselves at a family resort where their attraction grows as their kids benefit from their burgeoning relationship.

This is Drew and Adam's third film together, having previously starred in the 1998 film The Wedding Singer and, most recently, 50 First Dates in 2004.

The romantic comedy duo recently paid a visit on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, where they performed a special song about their history together on screen.

With Fallon on the guitar, Adam and Drew got behind the microphone and sang the adorable love song.

Adam has a knack for making box office bank on critically panned movies. Grown Ups 2 garnered a 7 percent critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

His 2011 stinker Jack and Jill earned more than $149 million on a $79 million budget, according to Box Office Mojo.

Blended will be released in US cinemas from May 23.

Too funny... Panda Express' yes he is junk food junkie. I walked into a Panda Express and turned right around.. No thanks.. Same with Chipolte... I just can't stand to see my food slopped into a flour tortilla or bowl... Sure it a good, my son loves it but I'm quite picky...

He seems like a nice guy but his films in the last 10 years or so have been awful, did Grown Ups really need a sequel even when the first was so bad ?

Jack and Jill was one of the worst films i've ever bore witness too, Growns Ups is good though. Most of his earlier stuff was funny too.
