What are you doing mum? Elizabeth Hurley's son Damian watches as she puckers up to Shane Warne

Any young boy is going to feel protective of his mother.

And it certainly looked the case for Elizabeth Hurley's son Damian today, as he watched with arms crossed as she puckered up to boyfriend Shane Warne.

The nine-year-old kept a watchful eye as the couple embraced during the Dunhill Links pro-am golf tournament at St Andrews Old Course.

Warne, 42, played the tournament today; as did Hurley's ex-boyfriend and good friend Hugh Grant.

Elizabeth, 46, looked svelte in an all-black ensemble of jeans and a T-shirt with bright pink lips on the front.

Young Damian was smart in chinos and a pink shirt.

It appears that the model and actress was a little sore that she didn't get to play. She wrote to Shane over Twitter today: 'Good luck at the Dunhill! Still amazed I wasn't asked to compete xxxxx'

But he replied: 'Let's play the dunhill together next year-you up for it ? You swing great & have nice rhythm - with a super short game!'

Yesterday Elizabeth and Damian were in London, where he helped turn on the lights at Selfridges to promotes Breast Cancer Awareness.

Damian looked composed in the spotlight in a sharp suit with pink shirt and striped tie.

Like his mother, he wore a breast cancer awareness pin, perfectly placed on one of his navy lapels.

Hurley was at the department store to help launch the Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Collection, which will raise money for breast cancer awareness, and to turn on the matching coloured lights.

The Estee Lauder spokesperson donned two separate outfits- one silver and pink number to turn on the lights, and another hot pink affair, sporting a breast cancer awareness pin.

As the cosmetic company's Breast Cancer Awareness ambassador, she wanted to make sure she was looking her absolute best which also included making sure her pin - which was shaped in the famous pink ribbon breast cancer symbol - was on straight.

Liz has been active in her role as ambassador for a few years and even created an 'Elizabeth Pink' lipstick with the company, the sales of which go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Today's collection which she launched in store, included a jeweled compact mirror and an Elizabeth Hurley lip set.

She took to her Twitter page afterwards and wrote 'Had a great time at Selfridges. Wrist aches from a lot of signing. Met some brave cancer survivors who were supporting the cause. Humbling.'

And it proved to be a busy day for her as she was back at the store this evening to turn the store pink to launch the campaign and was accompanied by her son Damian, nine, who wore a pink shirt for the occasion.

It is a cause close to her heart as she lost her grandmother to the disease, and today she said: 'Every year, we light more than 200 landmark buildings pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.

'Selfridges is probably one of the busiest department stores in London and the 100-year-old façade is absolutely beautiful.

Speaking to Vogue.com, she added: 'I've just arrived from New York where I helped launched a fabulous new awareness campaign called Shine a Light on Breast Cancer which launches next week.

'Today it's London, next week Edinburgh and then on to Moscow and back to New York.'
