Inter Milan are ready to move for Bacary Sagna if the defender fails to agree a new contract at Arsenal.

The Italian giants were alerted by the 29-year-old voicing his frustrations about the Gunners.

Sagna, currently on his way back from a second broken leg within a year, voiced his annoyance at Arsenal selling their players, not winning trophies and that earned him a dressing down from manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger is confident his fellow Frenchman will sign a new long-term deal but Inter will pounce if there is any chance of luring Sagna away from the Emirates, reports the Daily Mirror.

Arsenal have made re-negotiating contracts for Sagna and left-back Kieran Gibbs - who is also into the final two years of his deal - their No 1 priority.

They have hit deadlock with Theo Walcott, who is into the final year of his contract and has yet to sign an offer worth £75,000-a-week.
