'Sweet, caring' 83-year-old woman proves she's no old lady by doing keg stand with LSU Tigers fans

College students, frat boys and jocks have been fans of the keg stand for as long as they have been drinking beer, but one 83-year-old woman has proven that drinking games aren't just for the kids.

In a video made on a phone and posted on You Tube, the daring grandma agrees to be held upside down by a team of strapping young male companions, while she guzzles the amber nectar through a tap.

And it isn't the first time the silver-haired LSU Tigers fan has volunteered for the job, exactly a year ago she was filmed at a football game doing the very same thing.

The woman is described by the video's author as 'one of the nicest, sweetest, most caring, and giving people you will ever meet.'

And with a show of approval matched by the 112 likes and 105,482 views, he goes on to say: 'And at 83 years old, she can still party harder than some college kids.'

'Grandma' as she is referred to, is a fan of Louisiana State University football team and three-time national champions, the Tigers.

Football season kicked off recently for the Baton Rouge team and a recent win against Idaho on September 15 may well have been the reason for the octogenarian's celebrations.

Last year's efforts saw the effusive granny wearing an all-purple Tigers sweat shirt and sweat pants, suspended horizontally in the air as she drank from the keg.

But this year she appeared to have upped the ante.

Clad in a grey LSU tracksuit, she challenged the men to pick her up as the whooped and whistled her on.

Lifting her carefully, her young friends tipped her upside down completely, while she grabbed the hose and gulped down the beer as is customary at a keg stand.

When she was put back down on firm ground, she flashed a proud smile of victory at her ability to join in the football fun just like all the young fans.
