After getting into nasty car accident in last week's episode, you couldn't blame Jersey Shore's Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi for being a little down in the dumps.

And after spending weeks apart, the 23-year-old reality star was ecstatic to find comfort in the arms of her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle.

The pint-sized 'guidette' was reunited with her beau after he jetted into Florence, Italy, to see his girlfriend on tonight's episode of Jersey Shore.

But in typical Shore style, the romantic reunion turned into disaster, as the pair get into a blazing row complete with a screaming match and the obligatory flash of flesh.

Things did start off well for the pint-sized reality star and her beau.

After being apart for several weeks, Snooki, like any girl, was nervous with anticipation.

Before Jionni's arrival, she was jumpy, pacing around the house and trying on an array of outfits.

Finally after consulting with Jennifer 'Jwoww' Farley, she settles on a tight blue shirt dress belted at the waist.

'I look like a cop but I don't care, Jionni will think I look hot as I have my t*** out,' she muses.

Foreseeing his arrival for several moments, the doorbell finally rings.

Bounding down the stairs, Snooki flings open the door and jumps into the arms of her equally pint-sized boyfriend for a tearful embrace.

But while the moment sets the tone for a amorous reunion, things go from bad to worse.

But first up, the pint-sized star is determined to get some loving after having to endure a temporary long distance relationship.

'Jionni is my world, Jionni is like crocodilly but alive,' she says.

'Me and Jionni are going to have guido babies. I can't wait to pop those suckers out, they are going to be so cute and tanned.'

The tiny star is eager to get down to business.

'I am so f***ing horny, I just want to smush him,' she explains.

Racing to the 'smush room', Snooki frantically prepares for a prosaic setting.

'Smush room, febreezing, doing everything to the room. Just making sure we don't get diseases,' she explains.

But in the other room, one of the other housemates is not so excited about Jionni's arrival.

After hooking up with Snooki during the gang's three month break between filming shows, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is nervous around Snooki's boyfriend.

Worried that Jionni has an inkling about their rendezvous, he begins to get pent up and proceeds to do karate kicks in the air.

'If anybody comes close to me and asks questions, I am going to kick them,' Mike tells the housemates.

'If he (Jionni) comes up to me, I will tell him detail to detail. If he comes too close I will kick him.'

As the gang hit the clubs disaster begins to strike, as Mike further convinces himself that Jionni has 'beef' with him.

Tension can be cut with a knife, and Snooki's man picks up on the uneasiness.

But things come to head when the tiny star gets more and more drunk as the night progresses, and Jionni snaps.

Turning on some provocative moves for her boyfriend on the club dancefloor, as always Snooki takes things a little too far, lifting up her dress and exposing herself to the crowd, which enrages her Italian stallion.

'Everybody can see your 'p****,' he screams at her. 'You are dancing like a w****.'

As Snooki tells him off, Jionni bolts and leaves the club.

Of course the pint-size star runs after him into the night, shrieking his name and screaming at him to come back, all while falling flat on her backside on the cobble stone street.

It is then when JWoww steps in to try and calm her guidette girlfriend down.

But it is no avail, as Snooki begins to lash out at her.

'Please stop, look at what you are doing,' JWoww yells at her. 'Nobody is doing it, you are doing it. You are acting like an a**hole.'

Screaming 'stop touching me' and shooting out 'I hate you's', Snooki pushes JWoww away.

With Jionni disappearing in the thick of the night, fellow housemates Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola and Deena Cortese eventually take the emotionally fraught and inconsolable star home.

And even with Vinny Guadagnino's calming advice and soothing words, Snooki sobs could be heard reverberating through the house.

After Jionni finally arrives back home, the gang hope that the pair will kiss and make up.

But as the couple cross paths in the hallway, it is quite apparent it is not going to happen any time soon.

Instead of an expected romantic embrace, Jionni strides straight past her.
