Pregnant Fearne Cotton looks stylish in chic leopard print coat as husband Jesse Wood escorts her to work after baby scan

Fearne Cotton and husband Jesse Wood made a rare public appearance on Friday as he escorted her into the Radio 1 studio.

Walking down the street hand in hand, the couple were perfectly matched in their coordinated ensembles as they returned from a baby scan.

Continuing to reign supreme in the maternity wardrobe department, Cotton, 33, looked chic in a leopard coat which she teamed with a white laser cut blouse and distressed jeans.

Hiding here eyes behind shades, Cotton wore capped toe pastel pink ballet pumps and accessorised with a lilac leather bag. 

Meanwhile her better half looked cool in a black jacket, white T-shirt jeans, classic Vans and a rucksack on his back. 

Happy to follow his wife to her day job, Jesse, 38, took to his Instagram page to let his followers know what he was up to.

Posting a picture from one of the studios as Fearne and Nick Grimshaw took to their mics, Wood captioned the shot: 'Popped into see Monsieur Grimshaw and the mrs post baby scan'.

Fearne announced she is expecting her second child with Jesse at the end of February.

Sharing the happy news via her website, in a statement she wrote: 'Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having another baby.'

She continued: 'I feel extremely blessed and happy that Rex will be a big brother, and we get to welcome another Wood into the world.'

Along with the announcement, the BBC Radio 1 DJ confirmed she has decided to leave the station, on which she presents the 10am-1pm weekday show, after 10 years.

Cotton added: 'It has also been a time of big decisions and one I want to share with you now. After much time and careful thought I have decided to leave Radio 1 after ten amazing years.'

'I have had the most incredible decade broadcasting on Radio 1, meeting wonderful people, helping break artists and watching live music from the world's best.'
