They're over a decade apart in age, but Ivanka Trump, 33, has revealed that her teenage self could have been twins with half-sister Tiffany Trump, 21, after posting a vintage picture of herself on her Instagram page on Thursday.

'Bringing on the teenage sass,' Ivanka captioned the photo, which she posted on the social media site in honor of Throwback Thursday.

In the black-and-white snap, a younger Ivanka can be seen posing on the edge of a bath, painting her nails, and looking uncannily like University of Pennsylvania student Tiffany, who is the youngest daughter of their dad Donald Trump, does today.

Picture-perfect: Tiffany, the youngest daughter of Donald Trump, has been earning more attention lately with her growing presence on social media

The newly-posted picture went down incredibly well with Ivanka's 513,0000-strong follower group, with many noting how the entrepreneur has managed to maintain her striking good looks to this day.

'Once a hottie always a hottie (sic),' one person commented, while another would-be suitor offered: 'I'd take you to prom.'

But while Ivanka and Tiffany both share good looks and the same Ivy League education - Ivanka graduated with honors in 2004 and Tiffany is currently a junior at the prestigious Trump alma mater - the similarities between the sisters seem to stop there.

After Ivanka's mom Ivana Trump divorced Donald in 1992, Ivanka continued to live in New York City, and soon made a name for herself on the Manhattan social scene.

Alma mater mates: University of Pennsylvania junior Tiffany is attending the same school that Ivanka earned her degree from in 2004

West coast childhood: Unlike her siblings who grew up in New York, Tiffany was raised by her mother Marla Maples in California

She then went on to marry businessman Jared Kushner in October 2009, and the couple have two children together, Arabella, three, and Joseph, one.

Tiffany, however, grew up with her mother Marla Maples in California and was mostly shielded from the spotlight.

The youngest Trump daughter acknowledged in 2011 that her California upbringing has made her different from her sister and older brothers: 'Since I have grown up on the West Coast, I’m definitely different from [my siblings who grew up] on the East Coast.'

Ivanka and Tiffany have found some common ground, however; when Tiffany turned 21 late last year, Ivanka posted an old photo of them smiling together on Instagram.

The woman Tiffany has become is one who is beginning to attract as much fame as her older sister.

Tiffany has over 21,000 Instagram followers, compared to Ivanka's 513,000, and has started to pop up in the same gossip columns that have written about Ivanka for years.

But though Ivanka used her fame to help her expand her business empire - she works for her dad at The Trump Organization and has her own shoe line - Tiffany seems to prefer singing, having released a single in 2011.
