Jet set stunner Rita Ora goes ultra-casual in a baggy T-shirt and jeans as she flies back out to the States

Rita Ora was back in London for less than a week before jetting back to Los Angeles on Thursday.

Which can only mean that things are ramping up for the musician, who's reportedly set to release her first solo single since I Will Never Let You Go, last May.

Rita, 24, dressed down for the airport - by now particularly au fait with in-flight comfort - and dressed in a pair of ripped jeans and a baggy T-shirt.

The British hitmaker wore tinted shades as she touched down to LAX airport, her hair twisted into a fuss-free top knot.

She paid homage to pop veteran Madonna once again with a printed T-shirt featuring the 56-year-old's face.

Rita has thrice paid tribute to the Like A Virgin singer in the few past weeks, after she hit headlines when 28-year-old Drake grimaced after she kissed him on stage at Coachella this month.

Though she's always busy, this week has been particularly eventful for Rita, who was only just in New York for a trip with boyfriend Ricky Hil.

While back in the UK, Rita made an appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, partied with friends at the Groucho Club and celebrated news that she would be one of three O2 Silver Clef winners - all before getting back on another flight for the weekend.

Rita confirmed that a new single was imminent when she appeared on radio show The Breakfast Club in US last week.

Her second album was originally slated for release last summer and while the title of the first single has not yet been revealed, Rita let slip last November that she was preparing a track called Testosterone.

Before that, Rita has New York Raining, a new collaboration with US hip hop artist Charles Hamilton, which she performed on Chatty Man when they filmed on Wednesday.

Rita wore a fairytale tulle gown to take the mic, naturally twisting up the style with a sleeveless blouse and thick waistbelt.

Beneath it, the sultry singer offered a peek at her hosiery to make sure that the image was suitably Rita-esque.

The solo singer has just been recognised for a very special accolade, after she was been named one of only three O2 Silver Clef Awards winners on Thursday.

It had been an early start for the Hot Right Now singer, who was headed for Heathrow Airport early on Thursday and therefore she didn't inject her euphoric energy into her ensemble.

Rita, celebrating her Best Female Award over Twitter, covered up her airport outfit with an oversized hoodie and modelled a second pair of sunglasses.

The 24-year-old didn't boast any of her usual flamboyant fashion flair, despite joining Mark Ronson and Primal Scream on the winners list.

Busy bee Rita sipped on a hot drink on Thursday morning, hiding any signs of fatigue behind oversized shades.

She was followed by a minder carrying her luggage, including her dog Cher The Bear in a Louis Vuitton dog bag.

She'd spent a late night at the Groucho Club in London with friends but was back and working hard again by the very next morning.

Rita kept it simple in a hooded top, which featured a brightly-coloured chest x-ray, and wore her hair in a twisted up-do for ease.

To the look, the Hot Right Now singer added chunky black pointed heels that helped elongate her legs in some baggy, ripped jeans.

Her image didn't reflect her excitement at her most recent career achievement, which she enthused about at lunchtime on Thursday.

Rita, who recently received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song, is due to be honoured with an exciting Silver Clef recognition.

On Twitter, the starlet gushed: 'Thrilled & honoured to be named Best Female at this year's #O2SilverClefs40 in aid of @NordoffRobbins1 #musicmatters'

R.I.P hitmaker Rita will receive the award on 3 July at a ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.

Speaking about the news with music charity Nordoff Robbins, Rita said: 'I feel honoured to be receiving the Best Female Award at the O2 Silver Clef Lunch.

'It's great to be recognised by Nordoff Robbins, a charity which uses music to transform the lives of so many people.'

Meanwhile, international DJ, producer and artist Mark Ronson will be awarded the American Express Innovation Award.
