Dakota Fanning, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Naomi Campbell match in chic all-black ensembles at DVF Awards in New York

These three worked their magic on Thursday.

Dakota Fanning, 21,  Naomi Campbell, 44, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, 37, showed off their stunning styles in chic monochrome ensembles as they attended the 2015 DVF Awards at United Nations in New York City.

Dakota looked effortlessly chic in a sparkling lacy black dress that tied around her waist.

The subtly pleated above-the-knee number plunged in front and was glammed up with glittering accents.

The Twilight star paired her sleeveless frock with strappy black heels, as her blonde locks were blow-dried in a low maintenance way.

The sister of Elle Fanning wore minimal make-up, per usual, brightening up her porcelain complexion with a pink rouge and soft rose pout.

Naomi opted for a sexier look, showing off her impressive figure in a fitted black dress detailed with see-through lace sleeves and a matching skirt.

The bodice of the dress appeared to be satin and buttoned down the front, with a hint of lace added into the neckline.

Naomi, 44, stylishly paired her eclectic number with patterned sheer black tights and matching T-strap heels.

Her shiny raven-coloured locks were flowing down with a slight curl, as her face was fully made up with a smoky eye and nude pout.

The original supermodel completed her look with a bedazzled Y-necklace and some chic finger rings.

Meanwhile, Maggie opted for a much more simplistic look -  jazzing it up with statement accessories such as long gold chain earrings.

The Honourable Woman star added a bit of colour with a scarlet slick and matching pumps, as her pixie cut was styled in a somewhat messy 'do.

Even Presidential candidate and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, 67, was in attendance, wearing a high-collar tweed jacket.

The DVF Awards were created in 2010 by DVF and the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to honour and support extraordinary women who have had the courage to fight, power to survive, and the leadership to inspire.

These are women who have transformed the lives of others through their commitment, resources and visibility.
