The Seventh Son star's red hair was pulled back into a tidy ponytail, and her alabaster complexion was brightened with mascara and mauve lipstick.

Julianne - born Julie Anne Smith - was speaking on CinemaCon's panel called 'The "Independent" Game: Based on a True Story.'

'Working in the indie space has helped my career longevity. All of my successes - including my Oscar - sprung from these teeny tiny movies,' admitted the Still Alice actress - according to Variety.

Opt to blackout like Julianne in head to toe Givenchy

When in doubt, black it out. Julianne Moore looks effortlessly gamine chic in a monochromatic, head-to-toe, too cool for school Givenchy ensemble. She's eternally elegant and her swept back hair and platform peep toe sandals give an insouciant air to this otherwise dark outfit.

Givenchy is helmed by Riccardo Tisci now and he's definitely taken the venerated house towards a more edgy, gothic direction.

Now it the time to buy these closet staples. Black leather pants will never go out of style and while everyone is out shopping for summer eyelet, stock up on these for the upcoming fall while they're on sale.

Whether you go full back to black like Julianne, you could easily style these pants with something lighter like a gauzy white Helmut Lang sweater and wear these for a chilly spring night. The options are limitless.

Check out our discounted selections below (all real leather and one starts at $149!) or just go for the investment piece from Givenchy at Net-a-Porter now.
