Fur goodness sake! Nicole Richie tosses on two warming coats while filming the second season of her hit VH1 show in LA

The second season of Candidly Nicole will be back, and so will Nicole Richie's refreshing take on fashion.

Nicole showcased her style - and kept warm - with a ladylike fur coat and leather jacket while filming the VH1 show at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, just outside of downtown Los Angeles, on Friday.

The 33-year-old social butterfly was hard to miss thanks to her fuchsia locks as she mingled about the set.

Nicole tucked her turtleneck into a pair of distressed jeans, while finishing off her look with an olive green belt and slick black shoes.

The pink-haired starlet had a hard time containing her smile that day.

Nicole wove her way in and out of the set with a grin and managed to stay in the social loop even when she wasn't surrounded by the crew.

The former BFF of Paris Hilton zipped through her phone during a lull in her day while sporting her fluffy white coat.

At one point, Nicole took to Twitter share a glimpse from behind-the-scenes.

The actress sported a pink-and-black sweater while posing beside a pal in a photo captioned:  'Welcoming Committee #CandidlyNicole #bts'.

Though The Hollywood Reporter stated that the series debuted 'to lacklustre returns', VH1 seems to be singing a different tune.

'Candidly Nicole has surpassed every goal that we set for the launch,' said Susan Levison, EVP of Original Programming and Production for VH1.

She continued: 'The series increased viewers in its time period by 50 per cent, attracted thousands of new viewers to the channel and shared Nicole's sharp wit and comedic flair for highlighting some of the absurdities of the real world.'

The star revealed to the Sun Herald in March that she would begin filming the second season just days after jetting in from Australia.

While her husband Joel Madden films The Voice Australia, Nicole and her family are based in both Sydney and LA

'Well, I feel very close to Australia,' the daughter of crooner Lionel Richie said. 'I really do feel like it's my second home.

'We've spent so much time there, Joel is an honorary Australian. So I'm going to ride on his coattails there and I just assume that I'm an honorary Australian also.'
