The Force is strong with them! Star Wars fans share entertaining videos of their babies' brilliant reactions to the sci-fi movie's new trailer
The Force is strong with these babies.
Since the first teaser trailer for the latest Star Wars movie was released late last year, parents who are fans of the franchise have wasted no time introducing it to their young children - and then eagerly posting videos of their babies' reactions online.
The hilarious recordings show babies too young to know a Wookiee from an Ewok watching with entranced expressions as droids, light sabers, and Stormtroopers appear on screen during the first and second promotional videos for Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
Princess Leia wannabe: Babies like Lillianna (pictured with her dad) react adorably to trailers for the new Star Wars movie in funny videos posted by their parents online
A little girl named Lillianna sits transfixed on her father's lap as she watches the video on a smartphone. Another one-and-a-half-year-old baby raises her eyebrows and her mouth falls into a a stunned expression as the trailer plays.
A third smiles, claps, and picks his nose as he watches the video from his high chair, prompting his father to remark: 'His reactions are priceless.'
Still, not every baby seems swayed by the thrilling prospect of Hans Solo's return to the silver screen; one little boy sits, bewildered, as his father is overcome by excitement. As the trailer progresses, the youngster simply looks more and more perplexed.
Trailer-loving tot: The father of this little boy says his son's reactions to the Star Wars clip are 'priceless'
Fast fans: While this infant will likely be too young to see the new movie in theaters, the film is predicted to earn $500 million worldwide during its opening weekend
While they might be the most documented, these tots certainly aren't the first barely-speaking fans of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia - in fact, many of their parents were likely born years after the 1977 release of the first Star Wars film, Episode IV - A New Hope.
Of course, the one-year-old-and-under demographic isn't the only group looking forward to the seventh Star Wars installment, which will be released on December 18.
Experts predict that super fans will help the film rake in $500m worldwide on its opening weekend, which would surpass the $483m record set by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011.
That's especially good news for director JJ Abrams, who has taken over the iconic series from George Lucas.

Other young fans have recently found happiness from the Star Wars films as well.

Another baby was comforted by a much darker element from the Star Wars universe, only going to sleep when her father imitated Darth Vader's deep breathing noises.
