He didn't stand a chance! Terry Crews rips off blazer to upstage Mike Tyson during hilarious Lip Sync Battle performance

The competition was fierce.

But Mike Tyson didn't stand a chance when his competitor Terry Crews upstaged him by ripping off his blazer on Lip Sync Battle.

The 46-year-old won over fans and was ultimately crowned the winner after he lip synced Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles from behind a piano on Thursday night's episode.

The actor - whose character in White Chicks also belted out the song - flashed a wide and cheeky grin as he playfully tinkered with the keys on the piano.

Terry even had host LL Cool J in stitches, who was unable to contain his laughter while seated beside a smiling Mike.

The audience screamed once Terry began unbuttoning his white blazer.

After unveiling his chiseled abs, an army of back-up dancers rushed to grab his shirt.

Terry didn't hold back from giving the performance his all.

After spinning around in circles with his arms spread wide, the Brooklyn Nine Nine actor whipped out a long red ribbon to flip around.

Once Terry was done with his performance, LL Cool J asked how he tapped into his 'softer side' for the performance.

'My wife and four daughters. Because you learn at home you just gotta shut up and listen and you gotta be sensitive and sometimes you gotta get in touch with your feminine side! It's a wonderful thing!' The breathless actor roared.

While Terry won fans over by showcasing his abs, Mike lip synced the classic Salt N Pepa hit Push It.

With the help of backup dancers and the occasional small explosion of pyrotechnics, the 48-year-old brought plenty of enthusiasm to the upbeat song.

Mike even wore the red-and-yellow, word-covered jacket favoured by the female hip-hop group back in the 1980s.

There did seem to be a point when Mike did not seem to be mouthing the words correctly, but his energy in the moment hid that issue well.

Adding in dance moves that were perhaps learned in the boxing ring, Mike was a formidable singer.

Ultimately, Terry was crowned victorious in Thursday night's round thanks to his Vanessa Carlton Run D.M.C.'s Sucker MC's performances.

Mike also lip synced the Rolling Stones song (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.

An unexpected hit for cable's Spike Network, Lip Sync Battle was based on a game played with celebrities on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

For the full-episode version, two celebrities each have to perform their own versions of popular songs.

Thus far, stars like Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, Anna Kendrick, John Krasinski, and John Legend have all showed off their fake-singing skills.

More celebrities have been announced - including Justin Bieber (who will be performing an Ozzy Osbourne hit) - with Michael Strahan and Hoda Kotb coming one week after Mike and Terry.

Although best known for his boxing career, Mike has since maintained his fame with acting, a memoir, a one-man stage play (produced by Spike Lee), and even an animated television series.
