While Kelly Brook has made a point of sharing details of her health and fitness in recent months, she's also been ensuring that she stays on top of her beauty.

And on Friday, the British actress, 35, was seen making her way to Mêche salon in Beverly Hills, where she got her ombré locks refreshed and lightened.

Wearing a pretty floral dress with a high neckline, the star made her way to the upmarket salon with her hair set in a ponytail, emerging hours later with her locks looking voluminous and shiny.

Kelly, who recently returned to Los Angeles from a trip to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the desert community of Indio, was accompanied by her pal, Natalie Loren.

The star, who moved to the US after landing a role in the new Ellen DeGeneres-produced sitcom One Big Happy, rounded out her ensemble with a pair of peep-toe sandals and woollen bag.

In a recent interview with Your Fitness magazine, Kelly sung the praises of her new boyfriend, Jeremy Parisi, who also helped her get into shape.

She said: 'My PT in LA knows exactly how to work my body. The next day I literally can't walk!'

Jeremy is a trained jujitsu instructor but has been working with Kelly since the start of the year, eventually leading to the two of them falling in love.

The couple have since enjoyed romantic breaks over Easter in London to meet Kelly's family and across the Channel in Paris.

Brook says that since moving across the pond - and no doubt with Jeremy as a boyfriend - she's found it easier to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle compared to London.

'I find it easier to stay fit when I'm in LA,' she said in the June issue. 'When the sun is shining I definitely want to exercise more!

'At the beginning of the year I decided to kick-start my lifestyle and embark on a healthier way of living. I like to mix up my workout's from Pilates to Barry's Bootcamp and go around 2-3 times a week.'
