ON THE ROAD WITH MOTORING EDITOR RAY MASSEY
Feel that breeze: Ray Massey gets the roof off the new third-generation Audi TT Roadster 2.0 and puts it to the test
Ray Massey drove the fully stocked four-wheel-drive 2-litre TFSI in S-line quattro trim with 230 bhp, which was adept at whipping around the Cotswolds in style. The new sportscar was sure-footed and fun to drive with lively acceleration that takes it from rest to 62 mph in just 6.1 seconds up to a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph. The range starts from £31,995 for the 2-litre TDi Sport in six-speed manual but no matter how good, nothing will have the jaw-dropping impact on the car market as the original Audi TT of 1999. It was dubbed the 'Bauhaus Bullet' because of its clean, minimalist lines reminiscent of the German art movement of the Twenties and early Thirties.

Clapped out 1962 Aston Martin DB4 on the market for £220,000 - because it will be worth THREE TIMES that if fully restored
The £220,000 purchase is an attractive prospect for many car enthusiasts by offering the rare chance to restore a virtually-untouched 1962 Aston Martin DB4 Series III, and will be auctioned in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. But the restoration project will cost upwards of £350,000 - meaning whoever buys the car (above centre) will have to pay at least £570,000 to return it to its former glory. There were about 1,100 DB4 Series III cars made from 1958 to 1963 - and it is becoming tougher to find one that offers a restoration project. 'Road closed because of dog driving a tractor. Nope not joking': Traffic police stunned as SHEEPDOG drives farmer's machine through fence and onto motorway
The sheepdog, called Don, leaned on the controls of the tractor (left) before driving it through a fence (inset) and on to the M74 near Abington in South Lanarkshire during rush hour. The vehicle shot out of the field and crashed down a bank by the side of the motorway before colliding with the central reservation. Police raced to the scene and found motorists had managed to avoid the tractor - while four and a half year old Don (pictured left and right), who belongs to local farmer Tom Hamilton, 77, was unhurt. The incident caused major tailbacks this morning.
