She sure is ageing well.

Lucy Liu did the rounds of TV talk shows on Wednesday and the 46-year-old actress showed off her super-toned legs as she left a taping of ABC's The View in New York.

Liu was on the show to talk about directing the newest episode of Elementary, the crime drama she stars in with Johnny Lee Miller.

It's all bare: Lucy Liu didn't miss a beat as she exited The View Wednesday flaunting her toned bare legs despite the New York chill

She covered up against the cold with a tiered cape coat, but left her legs bare and wore strappy high heels.

The former Charlie's Angel wore a short-sleeved black dress with a scoop neck and red accents around the waist for her appearance on The View.

She accessorized with large chain-link hoop earrings that matched bracelets on each arm and wore her long black hair tied back in a loose pony tail.

In her element on the small screen: The 46-year-old actress was happy to share stories from the set of the CBS crime drama Elementary

In the director's chair: The beauty's talk with the ladies of The View about taking a turn behind the camera on Elementary went well

It's the second time that Liu has directed an episode of Elementary that's now in its third season.

The beauty helmed the episode Paint It Black which aired in May 2014 which brought together Holmes and his estranged brother Mycroft, played by Welsh actor Rhys Ifans.

The actress, who found fame in the long-running hit TV series Ally McBeal, was excited as she animatedly shared secrets from her second time pulling double duty as director and star of the popular show.

In Thursday's episode called The Female Of The Species, Liu as Dr. Joan Watson investigates the poisoning death of her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Sherlock Holmes played by Miller teams up with Detective Marcus Bell, played by Jon Michael Hill, to solve the theft of pregnant zebras from a local zoo.

The actress told The View that filming on location at the Bronx Zoo was challenging because on the day of the shoot heavy snow fell in the city.

'We could have been in Alaska,' she said.

Brrrrr: Liu wrapped up warm for the location shoot at the Bronx Zoo where she had to direct the crew on how she wanted the scenes shot

During filming in the snow last month, Miller posted a photo on Instagram of his co-star and director with actor Jon Michael Hill who plays Detective Marcus Bell on the show.

Before heading to the View, Liu also appeared on CBS This Morning.

Wearing a sleeveless dress and leaving her hair loose, she talked about what it's like to change roles and direct her co-stars.

'I think because I'm so intimate with the cast and they're so comfortable with me it makes it easier in some ways,' she said.
