There are another two weeks until Halloween.

But Gwen Stefani was looking distinctly seasonal in a pumpkin orange jacket on Saturday.

The No Doubt singer donned the eye-catching outfit as she escorted her mini Batman, also known as Zuma and little Native American, aka Kingston, to a celebration in Los Angeles.

It certainly seemed like six-year-old Kingston and four-year-old Zuma were enjoying the chance to play dress up, with broad smiles on their faces.

The group was completed by Gavin Rossdale, who didn't join in the fancy dress antics of his family.

He certainly came in handy, stopping a car backing into his wife's Porsche by frantically shouting.

After the Halloween festival the group headed out for ice cream before visiting a pet shop to buy supplies for their new Pomerarian puppy.

While Gwen obviously enjoys spending time with her two children, she recently revealed that she has no plans to expand her family.

'Do I want more children? Not really, no. Two kids are enough,' the 43-year-old admitted in Hello! magazine.

'I’m done with having children. I’m tearing myself up every day as it is.'

Gwen recently celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary with Bush frontman Rossdale, and she said the couple is 'very happy' with each other.

'We have found a way to handle it,' she explained. 'Of course things are sometimes running better and sometimes not so great. But we’re always very happy that we’ve been together this long.

'We stick together and on the main things we agree. We both wanted a family, for example. Gavin is a fantastic father. I could never record a song with him, but the guys are our great common passion.'
