Uma Thurman wows backstage at the BAFTAs as she gets her hair perfected before presenting the Lead Actor award
She's looked glamorous on many a red carpet.
But Uma Thurman looked particularly stunning at the 2014 EE BAFTAs even in the dimly lit backstage area at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden.
The 43-year-old actress was pictured getting her blonde hair tended to prior to going out on stage at the ceremony to present the Leading Actor award to Chiwetel Ejiofor, who won the trophy for his role in 12 Years A Slave.

With her tresses in perfect condition, the star later added some notes to her piece of paper and finally took some time out to relax by chatting to fellow blonde actress Joely Richardson.
After walking out on the red carpet in a black strapless dress, Uma opted to cover her shoulders backstage with a black jacket.

Several other stars also enjoyed a chat behind the scenes, including Dame Helen Mirren and Prince William.
The pair were no doubt sharing a joke about his quip during the ceremony when the royal described the 68-year-old actress - who won a 2006 BAFTA for playing William's grandmother in The Queen – as 'an extremely talented British actress I should probably call Granny'.
Helen – who won the BAFTA Fellowship award for her outstanding contribution to film - and William were also seen laughing and joking with actor Jeremy Irons.

Ray Winstone appeared to be in jovial mood backstage and at one stage he shared an embrace with his The Departed co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
The actor was pictured chuckling away with Helen McCrory, who he presented an accolade with.
Ray was also spotted having a drink in the Taittinger Room among several other stars including Emma Thompson and Alfonso Cuarón.

Several other stars were also seen enjoying a beverage in the Taittinger Room including Gillian Anderson and David Oyelowo, who both looked visibly concerned about something.

Steve Coogan also appeared to have a worried look on his face backstage, but Luke Evans and Samantha Barks seemed far more relaxed.
One pair who did seem to be enjoying themselves were Jack Huston and Imogen Poots, who were pictured sharing a laugh, and the Boardwalk Empire actor seemed to find something the 28 Weeks Later star said particularly hilarious at one point.
