Now that's a doggy bag! Kate Beckinsale carries her jet setting pooch through LAX

As the pet dog of movie star Kate Beckinsale, it's safe to say little Ingrid enjoys a more pampered lifestyle than most pooches.

And that also appears to include her mode of travel.

The little Maltese-Chihuahua cross breed joined her jet setting mistress in a special carry-on doggy bag as Kate returned from Toronto today.

The cute pooch could be seen lying on a cushion inside the bag which Kate held as she left the terminal.

The actress looked casual in a green jacket, skin tight jeans and boots, with her brown hair loose and a pair of aviator sunglasses.

Kate had been busy filming the remake of Total Recall in the Canadian city where she is starring alongside Colin Farrell and Jessica Biel.

Underworld:Awakening, which will be released in January next year, will be produced by the actress's director husband Len Wiseman.

The movie will follow Selene after she escapes imprisonment, finding herself  in a world where humans have discovered the existence of vampires and Lycans and are conducting a war against both species in order to eradicate them.
