Will she patch up her differences with Lauren Goodger? Jessica Wright steps out with a chunk of hair missing from her head

There are many perils of being a high-maintenance Essex girl, from the damage caused to their feet by their dangerously high heels, to the orange stains on clothes caused by their fake tan.

And it appears as though Jessica Wright has fallen foul of one of these pitfalls.

The TOWIE star, 26, was pictured on home turf with a rather large bald patch on the right-hand side of her head.

Jessica was snapped leaving her home in Essex, with the patch clearly visible as she made her way out to her car and off to meet Gemma Collins at her shop.

Wearing a bight blue dress from Missguided.co.uk over a pair of black tights and black ankle boots with a patterned cream wedge heel she appeared coy as she headed out to film more scenes for the ITV2 show.

At one point, as she opened up the boot of her car, Jessica appeared to attempt to cover the bald patch with her right hand.

Perhaps the patch was the result of a her fondness for hair extensions.

Extensions can cause weakened roots and hair loss in women who use them on a regular basis.

Meanwhile it would appear that Lauren Goodger is still very upset and bitter about the break-up after she got into a row with ex Mark Wright's sister Jessica.

The shop owner is believed to have left Jessica Wright in floods of tears after she blamed the curvy singer and her family for causing the break-up.

According to reports today, Goodger laid into Jessica in the back of a taxi as they were making their way home from a night out clubbing in Essex.

Sources told the Sun that Lauren accused Jessica and her family for coming between her and Mark and ruining their relationship.

One told the paper that the spat began when they left the Faces nightclub in Gants Hill on Sunday night.

They said: 'Lauren and Jess got in the cab after a night out and they suddenly started having this almighty row about Mark and why he wasn't with Lauren any more.

'Lauren was trying to claim that her split from Mark was all Jess and her family's fault as they were getting in the way.'

The source added that Lauren started screaming at Jess after insisting that she and Mark, who she dated for 10 years, could still have a future.

Their co-star Frankie Essex is believed to have tried to intervene as the row intensified and then the news about the spat got back to Mark, who was said to be 'livid' at Lauren's behaviour.

A friend of the star said: 'He can't believe Lauren won't just leave it alone. It's one thing to be upset but to verbally attack his sister and blame her and her family for them not being together is ludicrous.'
