Justin Bieber reaches settlement with photographer who claimed singer's bodyguard attacked him and stole his memory card

Justin Bieber has reached a settlement with a photographer who claimed he was assaulted by the singer's bodyguard outside a South Florida recording studio.

Attorney Mark DiCowden confirmed the settlement Friday between his client, photographer Jeffrey Binion, and Bieber.

DiCowden said terms of the agreement are confidential. Binion filed the lawsuit in 2013 seeking unspecified damages.

The photographer said he was roughed up while shooting pictures from a sidewalk outside the studio.

It has been claimed the 21-year-old singer ordered his bodyguard, Hugo Hesny, to attack Binion and seize his memory card.

Bieber's videotaped deposition in March 2014 regarding the incident was leaked to TMZ, showing him behaving in a rude and arrogant manner toward Binion's lawyer.

The star rocked from side-to-side on his chair in a non-plussed fashion, while telling the photographer's lawyer, 'I don't have to listen to anything you have to say.'

Bieber also fumed after being asked about on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez. The lawyer asked: 'Have you ever talked to Selena Gomez and discussed your feelings about paparazzi?'

To which the singer put his head in his hands, sighed, and said: 'Don't ask me about her again. Don't ask me about her again,' repeatedly.

The Believe hitmaker has had several run-ins with celebrity photographers, also known as paparazzi.

He pleaded guilty last summer to reckless driving and resisting arrest following a Miami Beach incident in which he and a friend were accused of racing exotic sports cars.

Since then, Bieber has been attempting to clean up his act, voluntarily participating in a Comedy Central Roast in March and promising to change his ways in a speech at the end.

The teen heartthrob took to Youtube in January with a heartfelt message to his fans.

After appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he stated: 'It's been a minute since I've been in a public appearance, and I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I've been acting the past year and a half.

'I'm not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was "pretending" is often we pretend to be something we're not as a cover up of what we're truly feeling inside.

'And there were a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.'

He continued: 'I just felt awkward up there. I felt like people were judging me, and I really want people to know how much I care, how much I care about people, and how I'm not that person to say, "I don't give a f***,' you know? I'm not that kid."'
