The holidays may be many months away, but they arrived on the set of How To Be Single on Friday.

And Dakota Johnson wrapped up for the snowy season in three different coats while filming the romantic comedy in New York.

Christmas decorations on set indicated the 25-year-old and her co-star Damon Wayans Jr., 32, were polishing off a few scenes that took place during the festive season.

Dakota was hard to miss her vibrant red coat. 

The Fifty Shades Of Grey star tossed on a grey jacket over her scarlet number while keeping it comfortable with sweatpants and her trusty ankle boots.

Her face shone with a flawlessly applied coat of natural make-up, and she sported her usual hairdo that skimmed just above her shoulders.

The actors appeared to having a riveting conversation on the snowy sidewalk for their scene.

Dakota's breakthrough role was as the naive but willing to learn Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Of Grey.

In an interview in Vogue in January, Dakota said of starring in Fifty Shades Of Grey: 'It’s just the most insane thing to be a part of,'

'I've never experienced anything like this; I don’t think anyone has. It's terrifying - and it's exciting.' 

This time around, in the romantic comedy How To Be Single, Dakota plays a writer who becomes involved in an affair while working abroad.

Anders Holm, who stars in Workaholics, is also in discussions to step into the film, according to a recent article by The Hollywood Reporter.

Dana Fox and John Rickards are producing the film, along with Drew Barrymore and her Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen.

The film is based on the novel by Liz Tuccillo is due in theaters on February 12.
