She was checking off her to-do list, but Sarah Michelle Gellar managed to remain in a carefree mood on Friday.

The 38-year-old former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star flashed a brilliant grin as she juggled a boxed item, a brown shopping bag, and an empty iced beverage in her hand.  

Sarah was joined by a female pal as she set forth in Beverly Hills to wrap up a few errands.

Sarah's attire matched her relaxed attitude, and she teamed a distressed jean jacket with a pair of tight black jeans that hugged her ankles. 

The star's hair was slicked back into a wild bun, with several loose strands freely floating out of place.

Polishing off the look were a pair of sexy black heels, aviator shades, and a beige designer tote slung over her shoulder.

Sarah's Instagram account proved Friday was a festive day.

The actress assumed the role of bartender for a meeting and captioned a snap of her doing so,  'Now this is my kind of office @veev A full bar and it's not even noon!! I love when a mtg involves friends @galitlaibow and cocktails #Margarita and under 125 calories =speaking my language.'

However, it was Thursday's throwback photo that was sure to pique the interest of her fans.

Sarah marvelled at the photo in her description: 'Ok it's a serious #tbt First of all let's discuss the #snookibump I guess you could say I was ahead of my time?? I'm at a loss for words with the earrings. As usual @sarahjessicaparker looks stylish and amazing.

Sarah's come a long way since her high school years.

The blonde beauty is now married to her I Know What You Did Last Summer co-star Freddie Prinze Jr., who will be releasing his first cookbook. 

The couple are parents to two children, two-year-old Rocky and five-year-old Charlotte. 

In addition to being the mother, the actress just signed on to voice a character on the second season of Star Wars Rebels.

The animated series also features voice work by her husband.
