Happy birthday to me! Lady Gaga writes her own card... as she has a bizarre encounter with her idol Alice Cooper
It's hardly the extravagant birthday celebrations one might expect from a world-famous pop star.
But Lady Gaga marked her 25th today with a chicken and waffle breakfast in bread, tweeting a picture of herself doodling on a table 'Happy birthday to me'.
The singer might have wanted a lie-in ahead of her LA gig tonight, where she is performing as part of her world tour.
Happy birthday me! Lady gaga tweeted, 'Drawing on table at restaurant. If I had to give it all back, but got to keep my fans, that'd be ok.'
She tweeted: 'I woke up to chicken and waffles in bed, pink tulips, + little monster bday videos. I love you!'
But whatever Gaga gets up to onstage tonight, it's unlikely to be as bizarre as her recent with Alice Cooper.
Gaga met up with Cooper in Phoenix, Arizona backstage at one
of her shows and she tweeted a picture of the meeting yesterday.
It shows Gaga wearing black underwear with red gore smeared all over body as Cooper, 63, poses with his hand around her neck as if he is choking her.
She attached the caption: 'I just died and went to hell,' after being introduced to Cooper.
To die for: Lady Gaga tweeted this bizarre picture of her meeting with rock legend Alice Cooper after a concert in Phoenix, Arizona
Gaga is such a huge fan of the rock legend that she's asked for a cameo role in one of his famous shows in May, when they will both be in Brazil.
Cooper's morbid stage shows often include a guillotine, gallows, an electric chair, fake blood and he always 'dies' at least four times on stage.
So Gaga has a good chance of being 'killed' on stage.
An insider close to Cooper told the UK's Daily Star: 'It will be an amazing show and a treat for fans.
Working non-stop: Lady Gaga, seen here performing in Las Vegas on Thursday, will perform in Los Angeles, San Diego and Anaheim, California this week
'Both Alice and Lady Gaga have massive respect for each other.'
Alice also recently praised Gaga, saying: 'She can sing, write and play piano – she’s not just a costume queen.
The music legend, who had a smash with School’s Out, was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 14.
