As he continues to shed the pounds ahead of his upcoming wedding to Michelle Keegan, Mark Wright is showing off the impressive results of his ramped-up workout regime.

The former TOWIE star, 28, displayed his sporting prowess as he scored four goals during a football game in Chigwell, Essex, on Saturday - but he drew attention for more than just his skills.

At one point during the kick-about, the hunky TV personality lifted his cobalt blue football jersey in a bid to cool off, subsequently allowing a glimpse of his impressive rippling abs.

With his Calvin Klein underwear peeping over the top of his shorts, Mark - who had youth career at Tottenham Hotspur years before finding fame - showed that his pre-wedding regime has paid off.

Mark was in the midst of enjoying a 'lad's day', which included later watching his brother Josh Wright's League One football team, Leyton Orient, take on Sheffield United in an eventual draw.

The star tweeted: 'While the cats away..Played a nice game of footy, scored 4 and gone top of the league. Now on my way to watch the bro @Joshwright4 #ladsday.'

The TV personality recently revealed he's lost around two stone in recent months, thanks to his gruelling fitness regime and strict diet.

Speaking to The Mirror about his physical transformation, he said: 'I've lost a lost of body fat. I get up early to run a few miles every morning on an empty stomach.'

He elaborated further: 'If you haven't eaten any breakfast you don't feel sick. Then, in the afternoon, I do weights training. I eat tons of protein, but no carbs. No carbohydrates at all.'

Although he was never overweight, and sported a more muscular physique, he has shed the pounds in order to feel at his most confident for his big day with former Coronation Street beauty Michelle.

However, he was upset at losing much of his bulk when taking part on Strictly Come Dancing last year - around a stone and a half - and began working out at the gym in January to build up his frame.

Mark and Michelle, 27, are set to tie the knot in the summer, and the TV presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing star has already kicked off his pre-wedding celebrations.

It turned into a typically raucous affair, with the likes of his best friend and former TOWIE co-star James 'Arg' Argent leading the charge at the male-oriented bash.

Mark is expected to tie the knot with Michelle in the next few months after proposing to her back in December 2013 following a year-long romance.
