Still in love: Shannon Price, seen on her wedding day to Gary Coleman, has revealed his texts

Gary Coleman's ex-wife has revealed a series of texts he sent her expressing his love in the months before he died.

The texts came after he apparently sought a restraining order against Shannon Price 24, in a Utah court back in February.

They include this sent on March 29: 'I’m saying I love you and you gave my life purpose and meaning. You always have.

'Without you, I want my heart to stop beating right now cuz I’ll miss you terribly and I really was looking forward to seeing you and telling you I love you!'

In a video interview with website RadarOnline.com Shannon said the texts were 'very dear' to her.

She kept them because she knew that Coleman, who had ongoing health problems, 'may not be around to tell me he loves me.'

But just a few weeks before texting his love the actor alleged in court documents that Price was trespassing in his Santaquin home while he was hospitalized following a heart surgery.

The two were living together at the same home, apparently happily, at the time of Coleman's death.

Coleman stated in the paperwork, filed on February 19: 'I am concerned that irreplaceable memorabilia, irreplaceable model trains, irreplaceable items of personal property will be stolen, damaged or destroyed.

'Price has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home.'

Coleman, who died on May 28, asked the court to forcibly remove Price from the home.

He admitted in the papers that before and after his marriage: 'There have been incidences of domestic violence.'

An ongoing legal battle has seen Price and Anna Gray, a former girlfriend of Coleman's, both claim to be the actor's rightful heir to his estate and his remains.

Coleman was cremated on June 17 in a small town outside Salt Lake City.

In accordance to his will, no funeral service was held and his ashes currently remain in the care of a court-appointed attorney.
