Off the sauce! Jersey Shore cast show solidarity with Snooki and The Situation by refraining from alcohol

It seems the Jersey Shore clique are keen to show solidarity with their pregnant castmate Snooki.

For on their first outing since the cast reunited at their famous Seaside Heights house for their sixth series, they all abstained from alcohol when they visited the Beachcomber bar last night.

A drink did not pass the lips of the famously hard-partying guidos, a move that will shock their legion of fans.

Even notorious drinkers Deena Cortese and JWoww managed to restrain themselves, and instead sipped away on soft drinks.

It was far removed from one of Snooki's more infamous drunken moments at the bar, as she was knocked out by a man while there during the first series.

They were even happy to pose for fans as they relaxed in one of their favourite hangouts.

There is little doubt the gang were also wanting to help The Situation, who has just been released from a stint in rehab.

The reality television personality, real name Mike Sorrentino, has publicly stated the reason for his visit to the Cirque Lodge facility was due to prescription drug addiction.

However TMZ has revealed he was in fact also there to be treated for alcohol abuse.

The crew certainly looked like they had easily settled back into their old routine, despite their new more sober approach.

They were seen perusing the pier-side attractions as they eventually made their way home at 1am.

And it seems there was one unexpected benefit to their new found clean living lifestyle.

For the boys looked bright eyed and bushy tailed when they headed out to enjoy the sunshine, with Mike giving Ronnie a bearhug as they pranced around the pier.
