Former Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle is obviously living by the mantra, 'If you've got it, flaunt it'.

And this weekend was certainly no different as he showed off his body even more than usual.

The actor revealed his toned torso and amazing six pack by wearing just a pair of low slung shorts.

And if he didn't stand out enough anyway, Ricky ensured all eyes were on him as he opted for a bright neon pink pair of bottoms.

Ricky, 30, happily flaunted his muscular physique and ripped stomach as he went for a run in Los Angeles.

He's obviously enjoying his time in the States as he continues to film Queen Latifah-produced show Single Ladies.

Whittle ran along the seafront as he built up even more muscle while he grinned from ear to ear.

The Strictly Come Dancing star then decided to change from his neon pair of bright shorts into a beige pair once he'd finished frolicking on the beach.

He gave onlookers even more of a reason to raise their eyebrows when he changed in full glare of those around him.

Ricky wrapped a towel around his waist as he swapped over his shorts, but it slipped a bit low to unveil the top of his buttocks.

But he didn't seem to mind he'd been spotted as he giggled when he noticed he'd been caught by photographers.

He then proudly walked along in his fresh outfit, still showing off his washboard stomach, as he locked up his car again.

Ricky has been spending more and more time in the States after securing a recurring role on the VH1 programme.

And he's obviously proud of his new job as he has constantly been tweeting his fans behind the scenes photos and informing them of his daily work.

Whittle left Hollyoaks in May 2010 after his character Calvin Valentine was killed off.
