She's brand new to Broadway, but Vanessa Hudgens is a seasoned professional when it comes to turning heads.

The 26-year-old worked her magic in a peach pink crop top and dramatic denim maxi skirt as she stepped out in New York Saturday.

Vanessa padded forward solo with her dark locks piled back into a quirky hairdo that showcased her blemish-free face.

She may be known for her signature boho-chic look, but Vanessa Hudgens proves she can do city cool dressing too!

The brunette beauty stunned in this off-beat ensemble as she stepped out in the Big Apple, layering a leather jacket over a crop top and this fab maxi skirt. Vanessa was dressed to impress with her fashion forward ensemble.

The actress' edgy leather jacket added a fun twist to her look, which she finished off with a large white tote and sunglasses.

Her skirt's long front slit flashed a hint of her toned leg, which remained mostly out of view beneath the otherwise modest frock.

Meanwhile on Friday, Vanessa cradled her dog Darla while looking super stylish in a camel-hued coat and glittering choker necklace in the Big Apple.

The Broadway star also appeared to be joined by a bearded male pal, who held the door open for the Disney darling as she emerged with her pooch in her arms.

The High School Musical actress sported a pair of circular shades and teamed her fashionable winter statement with slouchy trousers and leather ankle boots.

Darla was just as stylish as Vanessa with a cute pink leash.

Vanessa will soon be back on the Neil Simon Theatre stage for her portrayal as the titular Gigi.

The actress plays a courtesan-in-training, alongside co-stars Victoria Clark as her grandmother Mamita and Corey Cott as Gaston Lachaille, who is her love interest.

Talking to the New York Times last month, the actress gushed of her return to theatre:

'Doing this has really changed my perspective and my work ethic. It just feels like there's a massive shift happening.'

'Once again finding myself on the stage, as I did when I was a little girl, makes me go: "Oh my God, this is what I want. This is what I want to keep doing."'

The part was a gig the actress had long been dreaming of.

In an interview with The View, the ambitious actress revealed she had aspired to appear on Broadway since she was a teenager.

'I actually wrote a list when I was about 16-years-old of things that I had to do and being on Broadway was the first thing. And I always said if I did Broadway I would want my first time to be in something where I can kind of originate the role.

'And we've re-worked Gigi in a way that makes it more accessible for modern audiences, so in a way it's kind of my own original version of Gigi.'
