'It ain't about watches': Charlie Sheen claims 'd*****bag' John Mayer is out for revenge with $656K Rolex lawsuit

By Alison Johnson

Charlie Sheen has continued his war against John Mayer, now claiming the singer's lawsuit against Sheen's friend is an act of revenge.

The Anger Management star told TMZ Mayer is using the lawsuit against his friend, watch dealer Robert Maron, as retribution after Sheen replaced Mayer on the June 25, 2012 cover of Rolling Stone.

Apparently Maron was the one to convince the magazine to take Mayer off the cover, angering the the star and thus leading him to his lawsuit against the dealer, over some alleged fake Rolexes that found themselves on the wrists of the musician's lady loves Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston.

'This d*****bag tried to bump my Rolling Stone cover and screwed Bob in the process and went behind both our backs,' Sheen said. 'This ain't about watches'.

'John pulled some things behind the scenes that were really uncool, really uncool. Really 100% un-dude. And I got no time for that. This is about vanity and all the other sins,' he added.

Sheen even went so far as to insult Mayer's spread inside the magazine, calling them 'd****y photos, like he was some tough cowboy and it was just embarrassing'.

The former Two And A Half Men star recently accused the Continuum hit maker of knowing some of those timepieces were not real, all the while making a massive profit off the other pieces Maron sold him.

Mayer had purchased $5m worth of watches from Maron starting in 2007.

But Sheen thinks the ex-boyfriend of Katy Perry it's only fair he disclose that he re-sold several of the pieces.

After news broke of the lawsuit, Sheen told TMZ, 'WAIT!! Mayer spent $5M with Maron and is crying about $600K? Ask him how he did on the $4.4m...! Sorry that 7 of your 100 watches aren't to your liking! boohoo! (sic)'

TMZ also reported, 'Mayer posted on a Rolex message board back in 2007 that he was specifically looking for Rolexes with counterfeit parts, and Maron's lawyer says this is proof the singer is lying through his teeth when he claims he didn't know what he was buying.'

The Platoon actor also said, 'Maron wrote the book - period the end. Nothing but respect for Bob -- his integrity is beyond reproach! This calamity of buyer's remorse 7 years after the fact is clearly a reflection on John Mayer's character and not on Bob Maron's.'

Last week, Sheen tweeted, 'mr Mayer needs to park that milk toast girlie drivel he calls muzak & leave the Patek/Rolex prowess to the best watch expert alive c.'

Maron has long been a friend of Sheen, and was once described as his 'media adviser.'

Known as a 'watch dealer to the stars,' he has also visited Charlie on the set of Anger Management.

In 2010, Mayer discovered one of his pricy watches was not authentic after he sent it out to get repaired.

TMZ claimed that Mayer then returned the watch and was given credit to buy another.

He is said to have spent up to $5 million in total, on multiple watches from the dealer.

The singer is said to be looking for a refund on $656,000, on seven other watches he purchased that were said to be counterfeit.

Between these two disagreeable men, Charlie is the worst of them. So sick of him, and wish he would drop dead.
