Pregnant Kimberley Walsh has tweeted her relief that her unborn escaped unscathed after she took a tumble declaring: 'Our little munchkin is fine'.

On Tuesday, the former Girls Aloud star dashed for a baby check-up then promptly tweeted her joy when doctors gave her the all-clear.

She slipped over the weekend and landed on her wrists snapping a bone but has been worrying about the effect on her child.

However, on Monday it was her arm that was the talking point - not her changing figure - as she was spotted out in London.

Arriving at the West End production of From Here To Eternity, the former Girls Aloud singer had her arm in a sling after slipping and smashing her wrist on Sunday.

She had it seen to by hospital staff over the weekend, but couldn't help worrying about her bump.

She has also revealed that best friend bandmate Cheryl Cole wept tears of joy when she confessed she was having a baby with long-term partner Justin Scott, 31,

Talking to OK! Magazine, the 32-year-old singer said: ‘[Cheryl] burst into tears of joy, which was no surprise as she's so emotional, but it was a really cute reaction.

‘She was hugging the baby. She's so cute. We literally hugged for about ten minutes.'

Kimberley revealed she had broken a bone for the first time in her life after slipping over the weekend.

Tweeting a photo of her cast, she wrote: 'So I've had an eventful day...

'Slipped and broke my wrist - first break at 32! On a happier note thanks to the lovely nurses in A&E tonight you were all lovely.'

Wearing a pair of black and white flecked trousers, black top and jacket, there was little sign of the singer's mini bump as she left the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Ahead of her evening at the theatre on Monday, Kimberley tweeted she had to rely on her sisters Sally and Amy and boyfriend to help her cook and get ready.

She tweeted: 'So my little helpers @SallyLWalsh and @amywalsh27 came to make me breakfast and lunch then Justin had to wash my hair and get me ready.'

Kimberley's mishap comes just weeks after she revealed she was pregnant with her first child with her partner of 10 years.

Talking about the scan, she said: 'I was overcome with emotion, I don't know where it came from.

'It was the profile that got me: I think it looks like me.'
