SPOILER ALERT: EastEnders' Stacey feels the pressure as she's cross-examined over Dot's involvement in Nick Cotton's death
Stacey Branning will be cross-examined during Dot's murder trial.
In new stills from an EastEnders episode - to be aired on May 8th - Stacey (Lacey Turner) looks under pressure as barrister Helen Stritch asks her questions about what happened the night of Nick Cotton's death.
Watching the examination from the dock is Dot (June Brown), who turned herself into police during the long-running show's 30th anniversary week.

As one of the first people on the scene after Nick's death, Stacey's reluctant to open up and say what she saw.
During the prosecution's questioning, 'Fatboy' Arthur Chubb (Ricky Norwood), Abi Branning (Lorna Fitxgerald) and Max Branning (Jake Wood) look on.

The veteran Albert Square resident let him 'die in her arms' asking him to 'confess to Jesus' and closing his eyes rather than call for medical help.
Stacey, Martin Fowler and Kush Kazemi find Nick's body in the same way Den Watts, Arthur Fowler and Ali Osman found Reg Cox's 30 years earlier.
Overseeing the proceedings is Judge St John Redmond (William Gaunt), with Adrian Quinlan (Ben Turner) fighting Dot's corner.

This isn't the first time the chain-smoking character has appeared in court.
Back in 2013 Dot was dragged through the docks and investigated for fraud after Walford Council bosses said she had unauthorised lodgers.
It seems we might have more court room scenes to come outside of Dot's trial, as in Monday night's episode Kat (Jessie Wallace) revealed to Stacey that she has received another letter asking her to testify against her Uncle Harry - who molested her during her childhood and fathered Zoe Slater.
