BAT under fire over Myanmar link

 

TOBACCO giant BAT is under fire for its links with Myanmar (Burma), where it employs 400. The Liberal Democrats say 'responsible companies should distance themselves' from the military regime. Ex-Chancellor Kenneth Clarke, deputy chairman of BAT, admits he is 'uncomfortable'.
