Man armed with stun gun shoots pizza delivery man in stomach to try to wrench pies from his hands

Even a shock from a stun gun couldn't get one pizza delivery man to give up his pies to a robber.

Dayton Beach, Fla., man Christopher Dondre Collins, called Papa John's on Monday night and ordered two pies for $26.09, giving instruction that they be delivered to 525 N. Halifax Ave., unit 4, according to police reports.

But when the delivery driver reached the address, the apartment was dark and no one was home, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.

The driver called the phone number used to place the order and reached Collins, 19, who told him he'd sent him to the wrong apartment and asked that he stay there while Collins came to meet him.

When Collins arrived he asked how much he owed for the food.

After the driver, unidentified by police, told him Collins then went to another apartment, returning moments later.

Collins again asked for the price and when the driver raised his flashlight to check the receipt Collins stuck a stun gun in the driver's belly.

The delivery driver managed to hold on to the pizzas during the attack, jerking them back from Collins who then fled.

Stun guns vary in power with some delivering as little as 400 volts and some as much as 4.5 million.

The shock can cause muscle spasms and intense pain, and in some cases short term memory loss, mental confusion, loss of bodily functions, burns at the site of contact, and in rare cases, depending on age and health, heart palpitations.

Police investigators found checked the phone number Collins gave, found it had been used to order pizzas before at the Overlook Apartments, and went to investigate.

In the hallway outside the apartment address usually given, police heard one man say, 'I tried to get the pizza but he wouldn't give it up.'

Inside the apartment police found Collins and two of his brothers.

Collins was identified by the delivery man and arrested.

Police later found the stun gun and telephone used in the robbery in Collins apartment.

'The defendant stated that he was hungry and was just trying to rob the pizza guy of the pizza,' police wrote in their report.

This ain't got nothing to do with Obama. It's got something to do with America period. America isn't sticking together . The people is lacking God and knowledge. Yes it's wrong how the young man went about. its because their isn't any knowledge being taught from the older people to the young. If Obama is elected there will be a free government stun gun program, or so I hear... The idea is to use the Obama phone to call the pizza place and the Obama stun gun to pry it out of their quivering hands. Or else how will the people eat?

And he had enough funds to purchase a STUN GUN and a cell phone and an apartment. Couldn't he at least have sold his STUN GUN for PIZZA MONEY? "myself", you should save your compassion for the Pizza Delivery Man that Dondre attacked. If Dondre had the least bit of ambition, he too could have gotten a job delivering pizzas. People like Dondre make me sick. So do bleeding heart liberals.
