He appears to be enjoying the bachelor lifestyle following his recent split from girlfriend of four years Eleanor Calder.

And now more details have emerged from the night the One Direction star invited a group of female guests back to his suite at London's Soho hotel during the early hours of Thursday morning.

The 23-year-old heartthrob is said to have taken a particular interest in one girl after he took her back to his room for six hours following their boozy antics, according to reports.

‘He was mainly with one girl at this point and at 6am they went to one of the rooms,’ a source told The Sun newspaper. ‘At noon he got the girl a taxi but the others had to make their own way home.’

The group reportedly sat up for 90 minutes and passed around a suspicious rolled up joint at the singer's two-floor suite before he and the girl headed into his room alone.

‘She definitely seemed more important to him,’ the insider added. ‘They were very cosy together. He kept apart from the other girls and his security looked out for her.’

Meanwhile, the day after, Louis was spotted leaving the grand hotel with a huge grin and wearing the same trousers he sported for his boys' night out on Wednesday.

The singer/songwriter looked a tad disheveled in his green coat and trainers but his broad smile suggested he had a great time while partying at Cirque Le Soir nightclub.

However, putting his hood up as he made his way passed onlookers, the pop star was clearly feeling a little self-conscious.

But that was nothing compared the sight of the girls who followed his exit a few minutes later.

When two of the five girls made their way out of the five-star venue, they held their hands over their faces and tried to avoid eye-contact with fans.

Another, who - dressed in the same clothes as the night before - clearly hadn't pre-planned to stay out all night, tried to use her mobile to obscure her face.

Less than 12 hours earlier the had all ushered into a taxi with Louis, who transport them all back to his hotel in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Clearly it was tight squeeze in the van as he sat on the lap of one girl, who was holding onto his arm as they arrived at the hotel following their night out.

According to onlookers the boybander invited the whole party back to his hotel room at around 4.30am.

A representative for Louis confirmed that he and Eleanor had parted ways after reports swirled that he was pictured kissing an unidentified bikini-clad woman while One Direction were in Asia as part of their On The Road Again tour.

'Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago. They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time,' the spokesperson said.

On Saturday evening the singer was living it up in Manchester – hours after Eleanor unfollowed on Instagram.

Tomlinson confirmed to The Sun's Dan Wootton that he is set to launch his own label with the full backing of Sony and Syco boss Simon Cowell.

His first signing is 2014 X Factor finalist Jack Walton and Louis is currently holding auditions for a girl band, which he will put together during his time off from One Direction duties.

'It's absolutely great to be working with Syco on a label,' he said. 'This is something I've wanted to do for some time, and to be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling.
