Marky Mark and the funny bunch! Mark Wahlberg leaves his family in a fit of giggles during an outing in L.A.

He is a movie star known as a tough guy who often scowls through his performances.

But during a recent outing with his family, Mark Wahlberg's wide grin shed any notion of his intimidating on-screen presence.

The 43-year-old had his wife Rhea Durham howling with laughter on a walk with their daughter Ella on Saturday in Los Angeles.

The doting husband and father-of-four had his arms linked with his wife and arm wrapped around their eldest child.

It must have been quite an amusing conversation during the family excursion, as 36-year-old Rhea had to look away after getting caught in a fit of giggles.

Her display was rather infectious as Mark and Ella couldn't help but to laugh at the sight.

The former Vogue cover model cut a casual-chic figure in a black cardigan, white top and skinny jeans. She completed the look with grey flats and a blue satchel bag.

The Oscar-nominated actor is currently filming Daddy's Home, a comedy that sees him team up with his 2010 The Other Guys co-star Will Ferrell.

It follows Will as an uptight media executive who takes on the role of step-father to his wife's children, however, conflict and hijinks ensue after their freeloader father, played by Mark, re-enters the picture.

Mad Men's Linda Cardellini portrays Will's new wife.

The film serves as a reunion for the pair who followed a similar tug-of-war, mismatched pair of personalities in their previous collaboration.
